The Greene County Historical Society invites all fair-goers at the Greene County Fair to visit the Society’s fairgrounds annex near the north entrance to the fairgrounds. Pictured are Society members (from left) Paul White, Nick Foster and Ces Brunow cleaning last week in preparation for visitors.
The annex will be open Friday from noon to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. A wide variety of exhibits are displayed there including farm equipment with a barn exhibit, household items, and even an authentic pioneer log cabin moved to the annex from Grant Township. Society members will be available to answer questions.
The Minnehan School, a one-room country school moved in from Bristol Township, will be open during the same hours with school marm Marilynn Hoskinson in period clothing.
